Membership Benefits

Executive Women International differs from most women's organizations in several important respects:

  •  The membership belongs to the firm, not the representative.
  •  Membership is by invitation only.
  •  The firm is represented by a top-ranking managerial or administrative employee.
  •  Membership in one chapter is limited to 101 non-competitive business or professional classified categories.

In May 1939, the Los Angeles business community recognized the value of such an organization, and that city's chapter was chartered, and EWI was on its way.  Since then, additional cities throughout the United States, Canada, and Europe have joined, forming a prestigious and exclusive networking organization of key firms and individuals.

  •  Developing new skills and qualities of leadership through participation in the organization's activities and administration
  •  Providing a platform of new perspective, broader outlook, and added knowledge gained through association and exchange of ideas with other top-ranking women
  •  Creating an alliance for mutual assistance and helpful contacts for handling problems that arise in the performance of their jobs
  •  Contact with diverse business executives
  •  Fellowship opportunities with women in other leading Charlotte firms and organizations
